Barnduster Gran Fundo - Rider Information Page

We're looking forward to seeing you at the inaugural Barnduster Gran Fundo on Saturday, June 15th!

Join the Fundo and have tons of it! The Barnduster is an untimed, mostly self-supported ride, designed to bring gravel cyclists of all levels together for a day of riding and revelry. This is not a race - enjoy the amazing views, pristine forest roads and buttery singletrack this course provides!

See below for everything you need to know in order to have a GREAT day in Sisters Country!

8:00-8:30 A.M. Rider Check-In at Fir Street Park in Sisters, OR

• Sponsor Tote Pick-Up
• Coffee & Donuts courtesy of Sisters Bakery and Sisters Coffee Co. Tea courtesy of Guayaki Yerba Mate.

8:30-8:45 A.M. Group Warm-Up & Stretching courtesy of Sweat PNW

9:00-9:30 A.M. Staggered Start from Fir Street Park

10:30-2:00 P.M. Suttle Lake Lodge Rider Check-In/Check-Out & Boxed Lunch Pickup

• Riders must check in/out in order for event staff to know all participants have safely made their way back to Sisters!

1:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M. Rider Check-Out at Fir St Park Finish

• Riders must check out at finish to receive free drink token courtesy of Left Coast Lodge

5:30 P.M. Live Music at The Barn! Hang out and enjoy tunes courtesy of 3 of We!

FREE Street parking is available throughout the town of Sisters. 100 riders will be in attendance - please plan accordingly to be sure you have plenty of time for 'Check-In' and to return to your vehicle if necessary. If local, we encourage you to ride from home!

Start/Finish:

• Suttle Lodge ~ mile 23
• Indian Ford Campground ~ mile 33

Barnduster Gran Fundo is a self-supported ride, with participants expected to carry enough food and fuel to satisfy their needs along with tools necessary to repair mechanical issues along the way.

Thanks to volunteers from Sisters Trail Alliance and the team at Suttle Lodge, there are 3 places to stop for aid along the course.

Aid Station 1: At Intersection of Suicide Gulch Rd & Forest Road 2061

• Water & Snacks (Trail Butter, SkratchLabs)
• Limited Bike Repair Kits

Suttle Lake Lodge: Highway 20 & Suttle Lake Loop

• Water, Guayaki Yerba Mate, Sandwich Lunch
• Bike Repair Station
• Additional snacks & drinks available for purchase at the boathouse.

Aid Station 2: Indian Ford Campground Walk-in Area

• Water & Snacks (Trail Butter, SkratchLabs)
• Limited Bike Repair Kits

Riders are expected to follow the course on RIDE WITH GPS or to download the course file for use with their preferred navigation app.

Event organizers will mark key turns with on-course signage. Singletrack sections will be marked with limited amounts of green ribbon. When in doubt, follow the green ribbon!

Thank you for registering for the first edition of the Barnduster Gran Fundo! As a reminder, all proceeds will be donated to Sisters Trails Alliance - the organization responsible for the incredible trails and signage riders will get to experiance on June 15th!
