KT Miller – Backcountry Skiing

Kt’s passion for wilderness runs deep, and although she can be found with tennis and a water bottle hitting the trails, her true love lies in creating her own trail, in the snow, with skis underfoot. With numerous first decents in Alaska, Romania, Greenland, and her home in the Greater Yellowstone region of Montana, Kt LOVES to be in the mountains. She can be found equally in front of, and behind the camera lens, and also works professionally as a photographer. Her images have appeared in Powder, Freeskier, & National Geographic. Also occasionally referred to as the ‘polar bear lady,’ Kt spends a 2-3 month field season in northern Canada with Polar Bears International working as a media specialist for their educational programs. “Everything is connected. You must have a healthy body to have a healthy mind. I truly believe that what you put into your body is directly related to what you get out of it.”
